I’m lucky enough to have a business which takes to me places that some people may never see.
This year I had the privilege of planning a wedding for a long-term client of mine in the prestigious Corsini Palace in Florence which was built in the 17th century, and still owned by the family.
In fact they still have a beautiful wing of the palace which directly looks out over the famous River Arno and the Ponte Vecchio bridge.
I’ve created many events throughout Italy for this client, from Sicily to Sardinia, and Rome to Positano. But for the wedding day, our clients chose the historic and ever so beautiful Firenze.
To respect the privacy of the couple, only decorative and not personalised items will be shown.
The church chosen was the oldest church in Florence dating back to the 11th century,
Santa Maria Maggiore church.
Our wonderful florists created a floral installation tailored to the space.
After a 5 minute walk along the beautiful riverside, the guests arrived at the world renowned Palazzo Corsini.
After the Aperitivo the guests dined in the grand ballroom. The exceptional attention to detail on every table was simply stunning. From Silk ribbons and hand painted menus to crystal plates, and of course sensational florals.
To get the party started, we made sure both cultures were catered for by flying in incredible talent to perform on a custom stage which fit perfectly with the grandeur of the venue.
Later in the night the guests were treated to a rather elaborate bar filled with surprises.
The couple danced the night away overlooking the river Arno.
I truly wish I could more photos of this incredible and prestigious wedding. I hope this small snippet of an incredible day has inspired you.
If you’re thinking of getting married or throwing an incredible party in Europe then please do get in touch.
